This course will begin with an introduction on VMware virtualization and other third-party virtualization technologies, such as vCloud Suite 7.0, VMware vSphere 6.x, and virtual machines (VM).
We will then discuss how to plan and install ESXi, including the deployment, the vSphere 6.x deployment guidelines, vSphere Hypervisor installation, configuring hostname resolution and NTP, and troubleshooting ESXi. We will then show you how to use tools to administer a VMware environment and how to operator vCenter Server 6.5 and licensing.
Next, we will work on configuring networking and storage before we move onto VM creation, configuration, and snapshots. We will then discuss security and permissions, as well as server and VM monitoring.
Lastly, we will cover advanced ESXi and vCenter server management, patching and upgrading ESXi, and disaster recovery and backup.
