Development of Cloud Azure/Excel integrated system for daily mining operations across 44 locations in South Africa. Lesedi drills core samples for Anglo and Harmony gold, diamond and platinum mines. The system was developed from the ground up. It is hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform and uses a combination of Azure ASP.net web apps and Microsoft Excel VSTO/VBA automation solutions. A cloud Azure SQL database is used as the central data store.
