In this video we take a look at enabling the windows feature for linux on Windows 10. We also look at downloading the Kali Linux app from the Microsoft store, you can choose the version you prefer working with.

Video Steps

1. Launch PowerShell Elevated

Right Click the start button and click on Windows PowerShell as Admin.

2. Enable Windows Feature

Run the following command: Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux.

3. Reboot

Reboot your Windows 10 machine or wait and move to the Microsoft Store.

4. Launch Microsoft Store

Open the Microsoft Store.

5. Search

Search for Kali Linux and press "Get App".

6. Reboot for changes.

Now reboot your machine to be able to launch Kali linux after the download and install.
