In this video we take a look at running ActiveDirectory cmdlets using PowerShell built-in to Windows Server 2016 and then running the same command from PowerShell 7.

Video Steps

1. Launch PowerShell 7 from the Start menu

Click on the start button and then expand thePowerShell folder and launch PowerShell 7 elevated.

2. Import module

Import the ActiveDirectory Module by running the command: Import-Module ActiveDirectory

3. Run Command

Type in the commands you would normally use into the window.

Hello the new Powershell has limited function, you should be able to use normal powershell until version 7 is fully supported in Azure, Exchange etc.
