In this video we show you how to check the Server Component state using PowerShell and we explain why you need to check it. You might have POP/IMAP not working for example and if the state is not active then you will need to fix it.

Video Steps

1. Launch Exchange Management Shell

Click on start, expand Exchange Server 2019 and right click on the Exchange Management Shell and run as administrator

2. Type in command

Type in the following command to check the Server Component State: Get-ServerComponentState -Identity EX2019A
